IBEW Local 223 was chartered in 1902. Throughout its history, Local 223 has maintained its reputation nationwide as one of the leaders in the electrical industry. Through partnerships with contractors regionally and internationally, Local 223 has taken great pride in its craftsmanship, training, and work ethic to ensure job site success.

IBEW Local 223 is the leader in electrical training in Southeastern Massachusetts. Our 30,000-square-foot training facility and fully accredited training program offer opportunities for the most thorough and inclusive education for apprentices and journeymen ensuring our workforce is trained in the newest technologies of our rapidly changing industry.
IBEW Local 223 partners with over 150 electrical contractors nationwide who work in all electrical field aspects. Local 223 provides these contractors with the workforce they need to get their project, large or small, completed on time and under budget with a safety record and value that cannot be matched.
