Joining IBEW 223 : Affiliated Electricians of Southeastern Massachusetts

Quoted from the IBEW Constitution, this is the first objective of the IBEW:

To organize all workers in the entire electrical industry in the United States and Canada, including all those in public utilities and electrical manufacturing, into local unions.

Learn more about joining the Electricians in the Southeast Mass, Cape and Islands Area!

First: you must decide why you would like to affiliate with the IBEW :

1) Do my co-workers and I want more money or better benefits ?

2) Do my co-workers and I want better work rules or safer conditions ?

3) Do my co-workers and I want to be treated fairly and with greater dignity ?

Second: You must talk with your co-workers.

The National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) provides legal protection for workers who act together to address workplace problems or improve wages, benefits, and conditions of employment in the workplace.

Third: You and your co-workers must contact the IBEW
